I decided to start this group to support returning veterans - come from a military family and wanted to honor them and others who have served. We will bring the tech community together with vets returning from Iraq and Afghanistan to help them with integrate with the tech eco-system in SF Bay Area. This group creates a community of military veterans and active duty members returning from the Iraq and Afghanistan wars. We get together in the East Bay to run, wheel, and walk every week, usually early Sunday mornings. All abilities and handicaps welcome! We figure out ways for everyone to participate. Come and share your experiences of returning to civilian life while we cruise around the East Bay.

East County Veterans is a place you will want to check out on your return home from deployment, active duty, or on leave.
